Children with additional needs

At Greystones Preschool, we believe that all children should be able to access our curriculum and receive the care and attention they need at every stage of their development. We understand that every child is unique and are committed to supporting those children who may need additional help during their time at the setting.

Here at Preschool we pride ourselves on working closely with parents and ensure that information is shared with you regularly and that your opinions are valued and taken into consideration.

Our SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator) is Julie Benson.

Julie has been our SENDCO for a number of years and is experienced in identifying additional needs, making referrals, and working with outside agencies such as The Health Visiting Team, Speech and Language, the Inclusion Team, Autism Team and MAST.
